Project Description

REDglobal is an international company based out of Greensboro, NC. They provide business simulations, online learning, certification of qualifications, service design models, and a full curriculum of training and consulting initiatives for schools and hospitality businesses all around the world.

I had designed REDglobal previous website many years ago, and it was now time for a redesign, using WordPress, which will make it very easy for them to update themselves. After a a wonderful collaboration that took several months (it’s a big site) we are very proud to launch the site now.

I was also honored to photograph part of the team.

It is one thing to design and deliver a website. It is quite another level to provide a sense of real partnering in the sites sustainable results. And this is never more true than in our case where the site must connect with a global audience of multiple cultures and demanding interests.

This partnering goes well beyond design. Mariela has more than filled in our technical and design gaps while grasping the real pay-off, which is always how the site finds, and connects, with the reader. “

New Client Website Launch

Today I’m celebrating a new website that I created and wanted to share with the world. I loved loved loved photographing Rachel in Seattle and working with her on the copy and design of her website.
I’m really honored to be able to support and empower women in their businesses as they launch their online presence. If you are looking for a real estate agent in Seattle, please call Rachel; you would love working with her.

“One only has to view examples of Mariela’s work to see that her skills and expertise reside on a holistic realm of depth, dimension, and beauty. She possesses a keen ability to identify the brightest qualities of her clients, and in turn channels that divine essence into works of art, taking web design and branding to another level.

I feel confident and grateful that my clients are drawn to working with me, based on what they consciously and subliminally experience on my website, which establishes the delightful tone for our working relationship.

Mariela understands the significance of this and makes her work seem so natural and easy. My gratitude abounds!”

The Cost Breakdown of Our WordPress Website Design

This is a question I get so often,  I’ve decided to break it down for you.
If you are curious/confused about the pricing breakdown of a WordPress website design, here it is.
Domain name: $12 – $15 a year

Hosting: $10 – $30 a month

WordPress theme: $50 – $200

Plugins: $30 – $200

Installation and customization: *Varies widely. See below.

*This depends on how complex your website is. It could take anywhere between one day (eight hours) and two week (80 hours.)

My average website design is $1500, but I’ve built some simple ones (while still gorgeous and professional) for $600.

New Client Launch | Web Design – Marianne Kelsey

Project: Marianne Kelsey’s Website Design

Project Description

Marianne is a gem of a person, and I respect her a great deal for many reasons, including for living her bliss, doing work she loves: preserving books.

Marianne needed a professional site to take her business to the next level, and we worked together to make that happen. In addition to the regular pages (Home/About/Services/Contact) her site incorporated a gallery, map of the areas she covers, certifications, FAQs, social media, etc.

Working with Marianne was a dream. I loved the experience and it gave me lots of inspiration for my own business; it was one of the reasons I choose to work with more creative entrepreneurs who want to make the world more beautiful.

“Mariela is a genius and a wizard.

What a gift to have someone with such honed skills and technological wizardry, who also has a huge heart and appreciation for creativity, help folks in the creative fields.

She had so much enthusiasm about learning more about my work, what I do, and the services I offer.

She wants to help assist women in bringing their creative dreams into the world, and helping to manifest them. I can’t imagine having a better experience working with someone to design my website than I did with Mariela. What a tremendous gift!

My father took one look at my website, and told me it was the best website he’s ever seen. I have had many people look at my new website, and tell me how absolutely impressed they are with it. So far, I have noticed more than a double in the number of inquiries I receive since I got the new website.

Thank you so much Mariela for sharing your gifts and skills with me. You made the whole process so easy, and you asked all the right questions. I grew through this experience.”
